Get a food voucher
If you are struggling financially and need urgent help with food, we can provide you and your family with a food parcel.
Our experienced Helpline team are there to help and discuss your situation in confidence, they will ask you some questions about your circumstances and can issue you with a food voucher number, which you can redeem at any of our 13 serving centres across Milton Keynes.
You can be issued with up to 6 Food Bank vouchers within a rolling 12-month period, after this time we can help assess your situation and get you additional support through our Beyond Food project, see details below.
Your voucher number is 6 digits long (eg 217857) Please write this down and keep it somewhere safe as you will need it to collect your food.
You will also need to bring ID for yourself and every family member you are claiming a parcel for.
In your 3 day food parcel you will receive long life food items including tinned food, packets and UHT Milk. If you have any allergies please ask at the centre at they might be able to swap items over.
If you are unable to collect the food yourself you can ask a friend, family member or neighbour to collect on your behalf. They will need to bring your voucher number and your ID.
Swap Boxes
We respect that some items in our Food Parcels might not be culturally appropriate for you, so we have Swap Boxes made in partnership with The Suleman Foundation.
From Halal to Gluten free we try to help everyone that needs us.

Mobile Top Up Shop
The shop is a service run by MK Food Bank and is designed for anyone who lives in Milton Keynes who is in financial hardship.
We have a variety of store cupboard items and cooking ingredients available to buy.
Individuals who live alone may buy a maximum of 10 items for £2. Couples and families can buy a maximum of 20 items for £4.
If you are struggling to pay for essential costs like food, rent or electricity and gas, why not come along for a shop?
"I visited for my first time this Tuesday and the staff were so polite, friendly, helpful and dedicated. I was nervous about coming but the staff were so wonderful, showed care and were brilliant at what they do. I walked away with 20 items for £4, able to feed my two children and it warms my heart opening my cupboards and seeing the items I was able to get for just 20p a piece! It’s reassuring knowing we have a charity out there willing to help people who are in real need. Thank you, from me and my little family"
