We are so excited to announce that Councillor Paul Trendall, the Mayor of Milton Keynes, has selected MK Food Bank as his charity of the year for 2026-2027.
This is a huge honour for us, and we’re excited about the opportunity to work alongside the Mayor and his team to raise awareness and support for the care we provide to people living in food poverty in our community.
MK Mayor Challenge 2026-27
We are challenging the Mayor and our generous community to help drive more food donations for his mayoral year – our goal is to reach 103,000 food items, breaking our Guinness world record!
At every event the Mayor attends he will collect food donations for MK Food Bank, and in turn help raise awareness for our cause! And MKFM will be on board highlighting the food total every month, more details tbc.
